My Take On Education: Hi, Sam here. I have a degree in Marketing, and Graphic Design and here I am a female General Contractor and designer running a rapidly growing Design & Build business. You don’t need a degree to tell you what you’re good at. Have a passion for Design? Do you feel some type of “high” when checking things off your to-do list? Are you the person who never forgets to follow up? Do you like the idea of learning in the construction and design industry? Honestly… are you a good person? Excited to be a part of a team environment? Looking forward to taking your Type-A organized mind and using it to propel the business forward? Thats what we’re looking for.
This role is for you if…
You have a passion for design and dream of walking into work every day feeling inspired and excited about what you do. You love helping people turn their dreams into reality and find joy in bringing ideas to life.
You’re organized, punctual, and never let a detail slip through the cracks (even if your mind occasionally replays that time a server said, “Enjoy your meal,” and you replied, “Thanks, you too!”).
You thrive in a team that feels like family and love the idea of a role that goes beyond a desk. The thought of visiting job sites, checking design progress, and meeting with clients and subcontractors excites you.
You have an innate ability to visualize how things will “just work” and can’t wait to translate those visions onto paper—and then see them come to life.
Why work for us?
This is the section that companies tell you about their 5 Year sabbaticals and hot fudge sundae bar on the 7th floor of the office. Sorry, we ain't got that. What we do have? Well, first off our dog Tito will be in the office during the week, so we think that basically trumps a sabbatical?? No but seriously, at our core, we care about people—our employees, clients, and trade partners. We believe that while work is important, there’s so much more to life than the hours spent within these four walls. That’s why we strive to create a workplace where you can truly be yourself and feel like part of our family.
Our team embodies a “whatever it takes” attitude, and we’re committed to keeping that spirit alive. We have each other’s backs, and we know that mistakes are part of growth, just like laughter is part of our culture. Whether it’s Friday happy hours or the occasional midday ice cream break, we make time for the moments that matter.
We value accountability over finger-pointing and ensure you feel supported, excited, challenged, and genuinely happy here. After all, isn’t that what life—and a great job—is all about?
Interested? Mainly for Tito… we get it.
If so, fill out the form and let us know why you think you’d be great for this role and we’ll be in touch!
